From the very beginning, we worked closely with him to bring his vision to life, ensuring that every element of the ring was thoughtfully curated and designed.
Designing the Ring & Setting
Gerdus wanted a refined and sophisticated ring that showcased an exquisite 1ct hand-selected oval diamond. The setting was crafted in 14k yellow gold, featuring an intricate design with two of the side stones set in a delicate fluted pattern, while the remaining two were positioned in an elegant over-under design, gracefully embracing the center stone. These intricate details added dimension and depth, ensuring that every angle of the ring radiated beauty. Our expert jewellers meticulously sculpted each element of the setting, refining the structure to enhance both durability and aesthetics.
Selecting the Perfect Diamond
The journey to selecting the perfect diamond was just as important as the design itself. We carefully sourced and evaluated various oval diamonds, ensuring that we found one with ideal proportions, excellent brilliance, and superior fire. Gerdus was deeply involved in this process—through personalized video consultations, we shared close-up visuals and detailed comparisons of different stones, allowing him to assess and select the one that best matched his vision. The diamond chosen was not just about size; it was about achieving the right balance between length-to-width ratio, sparkle, and harmony within the setting.

A: Absolutely. Even though I was 9,000 kilometres away in Luxembourg, I never felt out of the loop. I didn’t expect to feel so involved from that far away, but you kept me updated at every step, and I felt completely confident leaving everything in your hands. The result speaks for itself.
