Metal:
- Higher karat metals come at a premium price.
- The more metal used, the higher the cost, factoring in both weight and polishing labor.
- Platinum is more expensive due to the extra time required for casting, fabrication, and polishing.
Stones:
- Designs with more stones increase labor for setting, as well as the overall cost of the stones.
- Larger stones demand more intricate labor for setting and are generally more expensive.
Design:
- The initial quote includes a set number of 2D design revisions. Additional design changes beyond the quoted rounds may increase the final price.
- Extensive changes to 3D designs are limited and may incur extra costs.
Labor:
- Stone setting and polishing are covered in the initial quote.
- Resizing or modifications after completion may require additional labor fees.
Our made to order pieces typically take between 3 to 8 weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of your design. If you need your piece by a specific date please let us know, and if possible, we can try to work our magic as long as it doesn't compromise our strict quality control processes.
We work with both lab-grown and mined (often referred to as natural) diamonds, as well as moissanite and gem stones ensuring that all our stones follow responsible and sustainable practices. Our commitment to ethical sourcing means that you can be confident in the traceability, quality and integrity of your purchase.
Natural Diamonds
Natural diamonds are formed deep within the Earth over billions of years through intense heat and pressure. Each natural diamond is unique, characterized by its specific mineral composition and the conditions under which it was formed. These diamonds are mined from the Earth, and their rarity contributes to their value and desirability. Natural diamonds are often seen as timeless symbols of love and commitment, making them a popular choice for engagement rings and fine jewellery.
Lab-Grown Diamonds
Lab-grown diamonds, also known as synthetic diamonds, are created in controlled environments using advanced technology that replicates the natural diamond formation process. These diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds, making them indistinguishable without specialized equipment. Lab-grown diamonds are often more affordable than their natural counterparts, offering an ethical and sustainable alternative without compromising on quality or beauty. They are an excellent choice for those seeking a responsible option for their engagement rings.
Moissanite
Moissanite is a gemstone that is often used as an alternative to diamonds due to its brilliance and fire. Discovered in a meteorite, moissanite is not a diamond but rather a distinct mineral known as silicon carbide. It has a higher refractive index than diamonds, which means it can appear even more sparkly under light. While moissanite is durable and offers a beautiful look, it is generally less expensive than both natural and lab-grown diamonds. This makes it a popular choice for couples seeking an affordable yet stunning option for their jewellery.
9k Gold:
9k gold is the most affordable option, offering durability with a slightly paler hue compared to higher karats. It has a lower gold content, making it more resistant to scratching and tarnishing, but less luxurious in appearance. This metal is ideal for budget-conscious buyers seeking a balance of quality and affordability, though it may not have the same rich luster as higher karats.
Pros: Affordable, durable, and scratch-resistant.
Cons: Less pure, paler in color.
14k Gold:
14k gold strikes a perfect balance between durability and luxury, with 58.3% pure gold content. It is more affordable than 18k gold but retains a rich color and shine. It’s an excellent choice for everyday wear as it offers durability without compromising on the beauty and elegance associated with fine gold jewelry.
Pros: Great balance of durability and luxury, affordable.
Cons: Slightly less pure than 18k gold.
18k Gold:
With 75% pure gold, 18k gold is the most luxurious of the three, offering a deep, rich color and exceptional shine. It’s softer than 9k and 14k, making it more susceptible to scratches, but perfect for special pieces or occasions where richness and opulence are key. It’s a favorite for high-end jewelry and those wanting the most precious metal.
Pros: Rich color, luxurious appearance.
Cons: Softer and more prone to scratching, higher cost.

Platinum:
Platinum is a rare, dense metal that offers exceptional durability and a bright, white finish. It’s naturally hypoallergenic, making it a great choice for those with sensitive skin. Although more expensive than gold, its longevity and strength make it a popular choice for engagement rings and high-end custom jewelry. Platinum maintains its appearance over time and requires less maintenance than white gold.
Pros: Extremely durable, hypoallergenic, maintains bright white color.
Cons: More expensive, heavier.
